Eduard received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Irvine and attended the University of Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law receiving a Juris Doctor with a dual concentration in Intellectual Property and International law. Eduard received a certificate in International legal studies from the McGeorge-Salzburg University Institute of International Legal Studies in Austria. It was there that he became interested in data protection while taking a course from U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. This interest in international privacy and data protection led him to move to the Netherlands to complete his Master of Laws in International Business & Trade law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Eduard’s LL.M. research dissertation focused on comparative international data protection and privacy law in transnational business. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the U.S., Canada and the E.U. Eduard is responsible for working with CYBERSCOUT’s global operations and international clients to build data breach and cyber response programs. Eduard regularly writes and lectures on topics related to data protection, data security and emerging technology issues.
