Laurent is a passionate IT Security expert holding a master degree in IT Security. Since 2015 he is Managing Director of the Governmental CERT of Luxembourg (GOVCERT.LU).
In this function, the treatment of all computer related incidents jeopardizing the information systems of the government and defined critical infrastructure operators settled in Luxembourg, whether they are public or private, fall under his responsibility.
He is also chairing the CERC (Cyber Risk Evaluation Cell) in the scope of the national contingency plan. Its role is to monitor any critical national cyber-security incident or threat and to continuously keep the Crisis Cell informed.
In his role as head of the National CERT (NCERT.LU) he has the responsibility to relay all the incidents concerning Luxembourg to the sectoral CERT in charge.
Finally, his responsibility as National Liaison Officer of ENISA, the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security, provide him with strong links to all the IT players of Luxembourg.
