Stepanka Havlikova

Stepanka Havlikova is an associate in Dentons’ Prague office. She focuses her practice on Technology, Media & Telecommunications sectors, intellectual property, personal data protection, electronic contracting issues, technology transactions, IT company acquisitions, consumer law, and online marketing, as well as on commercial law and dispute resolution.

Štěpánka is a 2018 graduate of the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. She also holds an LL.M. degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Regensburg (2020) with her thesis focused on Data Privacy Aspects of AI-bases Automated Voice Analysis. Štěpánka is currently doing a Ph.D. Program on Intellectual Property Law at the Institute of Law and Technology at the Masaryk University with her dissertation thesis focused on Web Scraping.

Before joining Dentons in 2022, Štepánka cooperated as a junior associate with Kinstellar (2019- 2022) and Noerr (2018-2019) and as a legal trainee with CMS Cameron McKenna (2016-2017) in Prague. Within her previous employment, Stepanka completed a two-year part-time secondment for the Global Data Privacy Office of a global pharma company where she assisted with various data protection matters. She also worked as a legal trainee in the Compliance & Corporate Governance department of Krones Group in Regensburg (2017-2018). Apart from her native Czech, she is fluent in English and German.
