Zuzana Duracinska
Zuzana is a Project Manager, focusing primarily on offensive security and advisory. Her goal is to lead every engagement with a laser like focus on great outcomes, and added value to improving security posture of clients.
Zuzana began her Information Technology and Cyber Security career in 2013. Her early career began as a representative of the Czech national CSIRT, which is operated by CZ.NIC (operator of .CZ top-level domain). As a team representative she worked on legislation, national and international cyber exercises, information security and incident response. She was tasked with vulnerability assessments of websites for non-profit organizations with the goal to improve their security posture.
Zuzana was engaged in the international community of CSIRT, within TF-CSIRT and FIRST, where she often presented open-source projects from CZ.NIC and CSIRT. She was on a steering committee in TF-CSIRT, which was involved in developing cooperation within CSIRTs across Europe. Those years gave her perspective of CSIRTs operations and tools they work with.
Zuzana worked within a private organization as a team lead for IT applications department. Moving from security to IT operations, gave her insight on real-world application. The experience showed her how different but related these fields are. Zuzana observed the need of IT operations and contractors and compare it with needed security implementation.
During her years with National CSIRT, she was trained on CSIRTs operation, website security testing and internet governance. Zuzana is Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and ISO 27000 Lead Auditor.
